Ms. Bob’s experience in tribal law and Indian law is varied and extensive. Tribal Government Legal Advice and Counsel

Ms. Bob works with elected tribal leaders and tribal government employees to advance tribal interests and protect their rights. She previously served as an in-house attorney and special legal counsel to several tribes, providing legal advice and strategic guidance on legal, political, and business matters that relate to general tribal government matters.

She continues to help tribes navigate treaty rights, complex regulatory and federal grant compliance matters, and contracts. She has helped tribes amend and establish governing documents and tribal law. She also advises on tribal constitutional reform and best practices for tribal justice systems.

Natural Resources

Ms. Bob helps tribes and tribal governments manage and regulate natural resources.

Indian Water Law

Ms. Bob has significant experience in Indian Water Law and federally reserved water rights. She has negotiated and helped implement water rights settlements, tribal water codes, and related tribal regulations.

Tribal Governance

Ms. Bob has an in-depth understanding of the internal process of tribal governments and experience working on interlocal agreements, tax compacts, liquor, cannabis and tobacco compacts, and agreements related to transportation and infrastructure development. She also supports tribes with Self-Governance compacts and contracts and related implementation. She regularly counsels and advises clients on strategy tribes must consider when entering into agreements with federal, state and local governments.

Economic Development

Ms. Bob has helped tribes, tribal governments, and tribally-owned businesses analyze, plan, implement, and administer economic development policies and investment actions. She works to help tribal leadership improve economic health and prosperity and strengthen and empower tribal members and entities.
